ive been long due an update… my new ep has been yet again delayed but I remain hopefull this year will be its year..
2025 saw me only play a couple shows but wow I got to play the Theatre Royal in Waterford.. I lived in Waterford for a few years in college and really fell in love with it so this was a huge honour..
I was shortlisted for the Red Line Literature Book Festivals Annual Poetry Competition and I was asked to read my poem ‘The Tailor ” for a public audience which was my first time doing a reading of my poetry and another great honour..
Following this upon pondering with a fellow poet she & I instigated the establishment of a poetry society that meets monthly in Dublin… with or without me and I love this so much.. the ripple effect or art.. and ideas.. of love and poetry…and they are such a sexy ..excellent talented bunch… In awe of them all.. when i get to romance in hearing and being with them
Speaking of which I am a student too of the largest all womens , womens studies class in the world !!!!!! and when I tell you these women give me power and hope ! I aint lying… this class is a highlight of every week.. nothing compares to these big hearted brave poets..
I am presently gathering my poems to out together my first poetry book & I am still a poet for hire x
I have been nomading and trying to learn all manner of ways we can to solve our basic need issues.. and that is ongoing and no doubt like my herbalism life long learning..
I had to make some tough decisions with projects and take stock and reset.. but the future looks brighter at the end .. as much as we have to grieve work that sometimes isnt what we hoped and or we need to go back to the drawing board.. its very brave to stay creatively true.. especially women artists … more than ever…
alignment of values.. of tastes,, of work ethics..
then the real fun in projects can exist and you still get your work done.
